(SILVER SPRING, MD) – November 12, 2021 - The final chapter to TV One's popular Coins trilogy COINS FOREVER, is slated to air this Sunday, November 14th at 7:00 P.M. Returning to the Coins franchise includes Essence Atkins ("Ambitions," "Marlon"), Stephen Bishop ("Imposters," "Being Mary Jane"), TC Carson ("Living Single"), Kendrick Cross ("Ambitions") with newly added cast members Golden Brooks (“Girlfriends,” “Hollywood Divas”) and Demetria McKinney (“Saints & Sinners,” “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne”).
Airing this Sunday, COINS FOREVER follows after Coins For Christmas and Coins For Love which follows the complicated relationship of Madison (Atkins) and Alec (Bishop). In this third installment of the “Coins” franchise, Madison and Alec are flourishing in their dream jobs and have grown their budding romance but new challenges open old wounds and threaten to derail their relationship and their friendship.
"If I had to describe this move in three words, I would say happily ever beginning,” said movie star Essence Atkins. “This movie is one of the reasons I love doing television. To look at where my character Madison was in the first movie to now, seeing her full evolution is just amazing.”
In Coins For Christmas, viewers watched as single mom Madison finds herself scraping pennies two weeks before Christmas after the IRS freezes her bank account and her boss fires her. While searching for sideline gigs, she’s hired by pro-athlete Alec Darby who challenges the patience of Madison, but is swept away by her strength and tenacity which soon forges a friendship. The sequel, Coins For Love shows a glimpse of hope for the two friends as they begin to follow the path of their dream jobs. As Madison and Alec reconnect and reunite to spark a potential future, both of their exes remerge creating a challenge for them to pursue a budding relationship.
