(The Slice): Billionaire business man and space junky Jeff Bezos and a party of 3 entered space on his New Shepard rocket Tuesday morning making history as the first all civilian crew to take a suborbital flight.

"My expectations were high and they were dramatically exceeded," stated Jeff Bezos in a press conference following the landing back in East Texas'. He said it was the "Best day ever" when he disembarked.

The Amazon founder and billionaire leader of Blue Origin was joined by his brother and the oldest and youngest people to fly in suborbital space, ages 18 and 82 respectively. That 82 year old is Wally Fake, an aviation pioneer who was once held back from taking flight.

Bezos thanked Amazon customers for funding his aerospace endeavors.

Both Bezos and Richard Branson a fellow billionaire who took the flight last month both see their efforts as contributions to humanity, envisioning a time with flights to space will be normal.
