Biden announces job generating tech hubs

(TSN): Pres. Joe Biden has announced that technology hubs will be spread across 32 states and Puerto Rico to help propagate innovation and generate new jobs over multiple industries. It's the latest show of his economic agenda Bidenomics at work launched by the Commerce Department. The president thinks such an implementation will enable the US to lead the world in technology and multiple other fields.

“We’re going to invest in critical technologies like biotechnology, critical materials, quantum computing, advanced manufacturing — so the U.S. will lead the world again in innovation across the board,” President Joe Biden said. “I truly believe this country is about to take off.”

The tech hubs are funded through the CHIPS and SCIENCE ACT and managed by the Commerce Department Economic Development Administration which offers cities up to $500 million in grants.

“All this is part of my strategy to invest in America and invest in Americans. It’s working—we’re creating good jobs in communities all across the country,” an enthused Biden stated.
