Biden heads to Brussels for war talk with allies



As Vladmir Putin's non-stop military assault on the Ukraine continues, President Joe Biden heads to Brussels, Belgium to address next steps with allies on Wednesday. The emergency NATO summit he will be attending is the most crucial meeting with world leaders of his presidency. At the time of this journey Russia has taken the battle to the sea after destroying major targets on the ground in Ukraine. The world will be watching to see how the U.S. intends to intercede on the worsening crisis.


National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan previewed the trip on Tuesday saying Biden and US partners will coordinate “the next phase of military assistance” to Ukraine. On Thursday new sanctions will be announced he said. the next phase of sanctions against Russia. The president will address the European Union Council as well as meet with heads of G7 countries.


The threat appears to be inching closer to having an affect on Americans. On the Monday prior to his trip Pres, Biden sent a warnings to American businesses to protect their cyber gateways.
