(The Slice News): A man plotting to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh was arrested on attempted murder charge on Wednesday.
He was arrested 10 minutes after calling to turn himself in and possesed a Glock 17 pistol, a hammer, Peppr spray and restraints among other thins were found in his back pack and suitcase.
The suspect was camped outside of the judges Montgomery County Maryland home at 1 AM after traveling across the country to kill him.
Nicholas John Roske, 26 of Simi Valley, CA could face 20 years in federal prison. He said on the 9-1-1 call turning himself in that he planned to kill himself and the conservatie justice, the details of which were documented in an affidavit.
After the Supreme Court decision on the furture of abortion drew protetors outside of justices homes last month, Roske thought Kavanaugh would vote for loose gun laws. He was also upset about the Uvalde shooting.
The affidavit says Roske, who was armed, wanted to feel a sense of purpose in killing Kavanaugh.

The Hill wrote, "The June 4 murder of former Wisconsin Judge John Roemer stands out as the broadest, clear and present danger to every person’s right to stay alive in peace."
The Department of Homeland Security released a memo addressing an uptick in online threats of violence on social media after the uvalde shooting.
In a White House press briefing former Press secretary Jen Psaki was asked, “Does President Biden stand by this?” (The context of the this questin was protestors oin to justice's homes.)
She replied, “We certainly continue to encourage that outside of judges’ homes and that’s the president’s position.” Psaki was referrring to the freedom to peacefully protest. It was not an invitation for people to express their frustration with physical attacks, rather she was explaning the preesident embraces the Constitutional right for Americans to gather in public spaces and express opposition to people in public positions.
Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates says Pres. Joe Biden condems the suspects behav in the strongest terms.
Attorney General Merrick Garland provided 24 hour security to all justices on the Supreme Court followin the protests.
"As the President has consistently made clear, public officials -- including judges -- must be able to do their jobs without concern for their personal safety or that of their families. And any violence, threats of violence, or attempts to intimidate justices have no place in our society. He has said that himself, and his spokespeople have been forceful about this from the podium,"said Garland. He added that the justice department will "ensure every degree of protection available is possible."
Two US Marshalls were on detail near Kavanaugh's residence and had seen the suspect being dropped off by a taxi before he called authorities.
