Teachers in Tennesse got and early "teacer appreciation" gift from First Lady Dr. Jill Biden on Monday.
As the nation faces a national teacher shortage, Dr. Biden who holds her degree in education, as been a source of encouragement. Just thos wee she spoe at North Carolina A&T Universoity telling student tat more Blac teachers in classrooms are necessary.
"What we need to do is encourae youner people to come inot the professiona and also teacers of color. We need mroe teacerws of color," said Dr. Jill Biden on the Today Show Tuesday.
