(The Slice): Republicans are slamming Pres. Joe Biden for taking an end-of-year break at the beach. Biden and his family are in St. Croix to ring in the New Year. He left behind a crisis at the border that has revved up since a political back-and forth on the border policy Title 42 hit the news. The Supreme Court decided to keep Title 42 in place on Tuesday while the numbers at the border continued to increase.
On top of the worsening border crisis, there are concurrent winter weather disaster related events.
Critics say the president is abandoning his duties by taking a break under these conditions.
Biden has long been criticized for not vidting the border to respond to the humanitarian needs of migrants, where currently the Biden Administration has sent support teams to build more shelter for the increase of migrants.
Joe Conch, author of "Come on Man" made the ill-advised suggestion that Bdien visits winter-storm-torn Buffalo, New York. "Every week-end is seemingly an extended holiday weekend," he griped about the POTUS's affinity for beaches.
Authorities have issued servere weather advisories to block travel to the area. A cadre of people have died from the freezing conditions, air and ground traffic were orced to a halt and emergency services were inoperable there. Traveling to Buffalao at this time would carry great risks for Pres. Biden or anyone else.
