The news of the land deal came from local ABC affiliate KITV. They report ‘Ulupalakua Ranch sold the land to Harpo Inc. Owned by cattle farmers the Erdman family, the deal was executed in three parts according to the news station -- 520 acres sold for $3.89 million, 330 acres for $2.47 million, and 10 acres for $100,000.
