Pastor Mike McClure of Alabama is leading a new generation of gospel stars. For the second consecutive year the head of Rock City Church in Forestdale emerged with multiple victories from the 37th Annual Stellar Awards. He entered the contest as the 2021 Artist of the Year and has done it again. This year he won all but two of the Stellar Gospel Music awards for which he was nominated this weekend in Atlanta. The "Big" singer won for Contemporary Male Artist of the Year, Contemporary Album of the Year ("I Got It: Singles Ministry Volume 1"), Inspirational Single or Performance of the Year ("Amazing") and Album of the Year. Nominated for the second highest number of awards this year, with 8, the young minister followed CeCe Wians who was nominated for 9.
