R&B singer Kelly Price posted a live dispute with an employee from rental car company Hertz to her Instagram account. She says she will pursue legal action after being denied service and being disrespected. A Gold Star member Price expected to picK up the car she reserved for vacation with her husband (who was there to vouch for the poor customer service experience), but ended up going home in an Uber follwing a confrontation.
She explained, “So this gentleman is waiting for 911. I came in to pick up my car, and he’s talking to me like I’m stupid. So when I questioned why he was talking to me like that, he then had a problem with it and told me to either give him my ID or I can leave and not get the car.”
The counter attendant refused to release a vehicle even though she said the money was taken from her account in advance, an unsual transaction. The worker called the police claiming she was unruly. She was calm as she explained to police and her followers what was happening, callin te man a liar.
She also explained that te worker had an attitude on the phone with her before she arrived.
This is the second time in a year that the former Sunday Best judge had a conflct with the company. Last year she was falselyl accused of stealing a car tat was turned in well past the due date. Reports say she did not close out retnal agreement paperwork 10 days after turnin it in. She said she was ill with COVID at te time and chose not to sue Hertz.
Thinking back to her previous conflict se ased herself: Why am I back in this building? I just thought about it. It’s always an issue with this company.”
