In Kenosha, WI. . . The Defense rested in the trial of #KyleRittenhouse on Thurs. after 8 days of testimony including the defendant & the sole survivor of his attack. The fate of the 18 y/o rests in the hands of 31 jurors. Some believe the judge aided in shaping the perception of the accused. Rittenhouse broke down in tears when he recalled being attacked saying, "I did nothing wrong." The sole survivor of the shooting, 27-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz said he showed no remorse and acted like a child being more concerned with being caught than about what he had done. Former NAACP leader Cornell Brooks characterized the perceived bias as White Supremacy.


The economy is cranking up again with an unexpected 561,000 jobs added and a 4.6% employment rate closing out October. Pres, Joe Biden is singing the praises of a turn around, after his victory in getting bi-partisan support for the passage a trillion dollar infrastructure deal the at the Port of Balitmore earlier this week. He addressed how the BBB plan will lessen the burden on the supply chain and came to grips with rising inflation which his administration had downplayed for months. The necessity of truckers was also highligted to keep goods moving from ports.


Down in Brunswick, GA. . .

4Another week in the murder trial of three White Georgia men who killed Ahmaud Arbery, an unarmed Black who was out for a jog -- has ended with race hovering over it. Ahead of the trial the racial composition of the jury that inludes 11 Whites and one Black person was criticized as prejudicial selection in the process, which defense attorneys denied. Now a defense attorney representing one the man who shot the video of the encounter reintroduced the notion of racial discrimination once again, teling the judge his side does not want "black pastors" in attendance. Rev. Al Sharpton and other pastors came to the trial for a prayer vigil outside of the court and remained to cosole the Arbery family. He said the presence of a highly recognizable person with poltical interest unrelated to the trail could be intimidating for the jury. Sharpton told TMZ he will be back.


In the Northeast. . .


A settelment has been reach in the Flint, MI water crisis - a public battle that accused the state of ignoring contaminated water in the predominantly black City of Flint. The battle to get the state to cooperate had been on-going since 2014. U.S. District Judge Judith Levy signed off on a $626.25 victims compensation package that will be divided between the children of Flint who were the largest group affected by lead poisining form the citys drinking water and other residents who suffered form contact with untreated water. Press Sec. Jen Psaki reurned to work Friday after recovering form COVID-19. She said other a a little fatigue in the beginning she's fine and misses her house shoes. In Hollywood. . .Pop star Britney Spears is free agin. A judge terminated eh conservatorship that kept her bound to the authority of her father for 14 year of her adult life. Spear is 39.
