A Wisconsin couple died from a ligtening strike just out side of the White House on Tursda during a ligtening storm.
Sadly, on Friday afternoon third victim, a 29-year-old man, died from his injuries the Metropolitan Police Department said. A fourth victim remains in critical condition. As eav ran fell and strong winds came through Washington, DC, lightening struck down a tree in Lafayette Park, located directly acorss the street from the White House. All victims were in the vicintiy of the tree and sustained life-treatenin injuries.
DC Fire and EMS Public Information Officer Vito Maggiolo could not specify their exact injuries.
‘All we know for sure is that there was a lightning strike in their vicinity, in their immediate vicinity, and all four were injured,’ he said, according to NBC Washington.
Te victims names were not released.
