TRAILER: NBC's Black comedy 'Grand Crew" explores Black life over wine


In NBC'S new comedy series "Grand Crew," a group of Black friends "unpack the ups and downs of life and love at a wine bar." That is the description the network released. The trailer is reading like it will be the bougie Black version of "Friends" (which was arguably already done with "Living Single.") "Grand" must refer to their status as well as their ambition to defy stereotypes. The group appears to be close and successful and destined to show that Black people "have layers." Figuring life out together over wine rings of good times, while conquering conflicts is also on the table with this smart and funny crew of thirty somethings.
