The next chapter for Issa Rae since the conclusion of her successful series "Insecure" has begun. The writer/producer has created a show about one of her first loves -- rap. Continuing her partnership with HBO, Rae created a show that focuses on women who are trying to break into the rap music industry inspired by the surge of successful women in the rap game such as Cardi B and Me the Stallion. The storyline follows high school friends from Miami, Shawna and Mia who become a group, Rap Sh!t stars Aida Osman and KaMillion and was filmed on location in Miami.
