Sonya Massey died by gunfire outside of Chicago - an inner city that has been marred by gun deaths -- but her case is far from common.  The unarmed Black woman was murdered by police in her home after she called on them for help.  The Black community fears that it is another case where law enforcement takes a ife and gets away with it.  Her story has sparked interest in a different type of excessive force from law enforcement and is in some ways more frightening that the usual cop shootings that end Black lives.
